3 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup Bourbon
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 (5-oz.) can evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 375˚.
Place potatoes on baking sheet; bake at 375˚F for 1 hour or until tender. Cook slightly, about 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350˚F.
Peel the potatoes, and mash them until smooth. Stir in sugar and remaining ingredients until well blended and smooth.
Spoon mixture into lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350˚F for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
